Another IRS Official to Resign

And another IRS official bites the dust. Joseph Grant, the commissioner of the agency’s tax-exempt and government entities, will resign June 3, according to an IRS memo obtained by the Associated Press on Thursday. Grant oversaw the division that targeted Tea Party groups for investigation into their tax-exempt status. The acting IRS commissioner, Steven Miller, was forced to resign Wednesday after the scandal continued to escalate throughout Washington.
