There's been quite a bit of commotion in U.K. airspace Friday morning—as thousands of British travelers scramble to get off the ground for their holiday weekend. London's Heathrow Airport closed both of its runways and canceled 193 flights when an Oslo-bound British Airways flight was forced to turn around and make an emergency landing after an engine fire. Also Friday, a British fighter jet was launched to investigate an unspecified incident that took place aboard a Pakistan Airlines flight headed to Manchester Airport from Lahore, and then escort the plane to London's Stansted Airport instead. The plane has landed and local police have said, "A further update will be released as soon as possible."
