Credit Rep. Steve King (R-IA) with at least one thing: he has a knack for packing impressive amounts of controversy in just 140 characters. On Thursday he tweeted that his office had been “invaded” by immigrants: “20 brazen self professed illegal aliens have just invaded my DC office. Obama’s lawless order gives them de facto immunity from U.S. law.” King is staunchly opposed to immigration reform, and introduced the amendment passed by the House last week to reverse the executive order halting the deportations of illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children.

    Says his office was “invaded.”
