‘50 Shades’ Gets a Director

    Well, the secret is finally out: E.L. James, author of the runaway bestseller 50 Shades of Grey revealed on Twitter that Sam Taylor-Johnson will direct the movie adaptation. “I’m delighted and thrilled,” James said in a tweet Wednesday night. Taylor-Johnson made her debut in 2008 with Nowhere Boy, and made headlines for her relationship with her 23-year-old star Aaron Johnson, whom she married in 2012. British actor Alex Pettyfer has filmed an audition scene for 50 Shades, and actress Emma Watson has denied rumors that she’s been cast as Anastasia Steele.
