    NYT to Weiner: Drop Out

The New York Times editorial board has had enough of Anthony Weiner's sexting apologies. In a scathing editorial, the paper wrote that "the serially evasive Mr. Weiner should take his marital troubles and personal compulsions out of the public eye, away from cameras, off the Web and out of the race for mayor of New York City." The paper's criticism is not so much Weiner's digital exhibitionism as it is his repeated dishonesty--blaming the messages first on hackers, then implying that his behavior had stopped after his resignation. In fact, we learned yesterday, he was continuing to send explicit messages to women until last summer, under the name Carlos Danger.
