Morning radio host David “Kidd” Kraddick died on Saturday in New Orleans at the age of 53. The cause of death is still unknown. Kraddick was in New Orleans for a gold tournament to raise money for his charity, Kidd’s Kid Charity. Kraddick was the voice of “Kidd Kraddick in the Morning,” broadcast in over 100 cities. Kraddick’s days as a disc jockey began in high school. After bouncing around from Los Angeles to Tampa, his career really took off when he moved to Dallas and his show became nationally syndicated. Last week, Kraddick joked to his co-hosts about what he wanted his “last moments on Earth” to be like.
