    ‘Glee’ to ‘Deal Directly’ With Death

    The show must go on. Fox Entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly addressed how Glee will be handling the death of Cory Monteith during a Televised Critics Association panel Thursday. Reilly stated that the show would “deal directly” with the death by incorporating it into an episode, as well as in the form of PSAs. Though he declined to comment on how Monteith will be written out of the show, he did say the episode “will deal directly with the incidents involved in Cory’s passing and with the drug abuse in particular.” Showrunner Ryan Murphy plans to write the PSAs, which will involve the rest of the cast.
