    Boys Strangled by Escaped Python

    Not all snake escapees are as harmlessly entertaining as the Bronx Zoo cobra. In a horrifying story from Campbellton, New Brunswick, Canada, two young boys were killed after a python escaped its cage at a pet shop and strangled them in their apartment above the shop. The boys, who were 5 and 7 years old, were sleeping in the flat above the shop. It's believed the snake entered through the ventilation system. The snake was captured by police.
