Paula Deen must be hoping a good serving of butter will cause everyone to forget. The cooking show star made her first steps toward redemption on Saturday, appearing at the Metro Cooking & Entertaining show in Houston and crying “tears of joy” at being back on the stage. Prior to the show, she reportedly told TMZ that she didn’t need a comeback because she “never went anywhere.”
