On Thursday, Secretary of State John Kerry stressed there were "crucial details" in the United Nations report issued earlier this week showing the Syrian government used chemical weapons, and urged the U.N. Security Council to form a plan to destroy the stockpile. "Now the test comes," he said in a statement. "The security council must be prepared to act next week." Russian leadership said they were willing to aid in the task of destroying the weapons, but only as part of a global coalition.
