Syria Submits Chemical Weapons Details

The dirty laundry is coming out. Syria is finally revealing details of its not-so-secret chemical weapons cache for the world to see—almost. On Friday, the international organization tasked with monitoring and destroying the weapons said Syria has begun sending in details of the stockpiles, which are apparently very long and being translated from Arabic. But the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons postponed a Sunday meeting to discuss the disarmament implementation worked out by the U.S. and Russia. Problems of execution are already arising, and the two powers are clashing over how to establish whether Syria violated the weapons agreement.
