A 20-year feud ended in tragedy when a father wound up shooting his estranged daughter after the daughter and her husband opened fire on her family's home in Ashville, Pennsylvania. Josephine Ruckinger was carrying a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun while her husband had a Derringer pistol and a .22-caliber semi-automatic handgun when they approached the home of her parents. The pair killed Ruckinger's mom and brother but then was shot and killed by her father, John Frew. Police are still investigating the scene, but it appears as though Frew acted in self defense.
