Jimmy Kimmel and Kanye West made nice in a long, awkward interview Thursday night that followed a Kimmel parody of West’s self-aggrandizing pronouncements. The feud began when Jimmy Kimmel Live! ran a segment that featured a child actor reading quotes from an interview on BBC Radio 1 in which West referred to himself as a “genius” and a “god.” West exploded on Twitter, heaping all-caps abuse on Kimmel for several days. Kimmel said he “felt bad” about it and that he realized West was just being honest about considering himself a genius. “For me not to say I’m a genius, I’d be lying to you,” West agreed.
