A woman in London has been told she must replace her late husband’s headstone, which is adorned with a Sudoku puzzle, because it lowers the standards of the cemetery. Angela Robinson, who received the letter of request from town officials, explained that the puzzle and equation on the headstone was designed to honor her husband, who was a mathematician and who loved the puzzles. “It was personal to him,” Robinson said. “How can they possibly say what we have put on there is lowering standards?” We stand with Angela.
