The Colts-Texan game Sunday took a dramatic turn when Texan Coach Gary Kubiak collapsed as he tried to walk off the field during halftime. Kubiak, 52, was taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation, and a source said Kubiak did not suffer a stroke. He reportedly never lost consciousness, and the team said Kubiak had a strong heart rate and underwent an MRI. “He was evaluated by a number of specialists … obviously, there’s a lot of info,” said Texans general manger Rick Smith. Smith said the team “will have to assess” when Kubiak can return. After Kubiak’s departure, the jilted Texans lost their 18-point lead, and ended up losing the game 27-24.
