There is a little thing called journalistic ethics that Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul hasn't been abiding by. On Tuesday, after acknowledging that he didn’t properly source a number of published articles, The Washington Times announced it would end Paul’s weekly column. He took responsibility for the issues, saying they were due to improperly footnoted materials given to him by staff. The newspaper’s decision was made together with the senator, but he earlier told CNN that he’s being held to a higher standard than other politicians.
