Allie, a three-year-old American alligator, was seen leisurely chilling under an escalator at Chicago O’Hare airport by a traveler. Police were able to get the two-foot gator into a box using a broom and transferred her to the Chicago Herpetological Society. A spokesman said that Allie “needs time to recover” after the incident since she was likely just “dumped” there. Because conditions in Chicago aren’t exactly suitable for an alligator, Allie’s health is at risk. Poor thing!
