Xbox One Sells 1M Units in 24 Hrs

The brand-new Xbox One celebrated Microsoft’s biggest game console launch ever this week, with one million units sold in less than 24 hours in 13 markets, including the U.S. With a $500 price tag attached to each console, Microsoft likely bagged more than $560 million in retail. Good luck getting your hands on one of the shiny new consoles though—Microsoft has said that most retailers are now sold out. On the other side of the gaming war, Sony has said it sold more than 1 million PlayStation 4s in its first week as it debuted in the U.S.
