Now that’s stranger than fiction. Hollywood producer Arnon Milchan, 69, has long been the subject of rumors regarding a double life. The producer behind movies Pretty Woman, Fight Club, and L.A. Confidential now says he served Israel as a spy, working on arms deals and its alleged nuclear program. "I did it for my country and I'm proud of it," said Milchan. One biography of the producer claimed that Milchan worked for Lekem, the Israeli bureau that tried to get defense secrets from other countries (Jonathan Pollard was famously implicated in a spying affair for the organization). Milchan is reportedly close with actor Robert De Niro, who when asked about this revelation said: "I had heard but I wasn't sure. I did ask him once and he told me that he was an Israeli and of course he would do these things for his country."
