Since they're already millionaires, Barenaked Ladies will no longer play at SeaWorld after watching the CNN documentary Blackfish. The documentary is about a SeaWorld trainer killed in 2010 by an orca whale, and examines the problems of animal captivity. "This is a complicated issue, and we don't claim to understand all of it, but we don't feel comfortable proceeding with the gig at this time," the band said on Facebook. The band watched the documentary after fans launched an online petition through Change.org. They also pointed out that SeaWorld has offered for the band to come “to the park to learn more about what they do, and how they do it.”
