This is the real War on Christmas. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s “campaign team” sent an email over the weekend asking donors to send donations instead of buying their children holiday gifts. Lovely. “Instead of venturing into the cold this Black Friday, stay in and give your children a gift that will keep on giving … Donate $5, $10 or $25 to help Governor Walker get re-elected and save your children from a future of double-digit tax increases and billion-dollar deficits.” The email also notes that “electronics or toys” will become outdated or break, but contributing to Walker’s campaign will help create a “Wisconsin as great as the one [Walker] grew up in.” Is this part of a master plan to get on Jimmy Kimmel when they film the looks on children’s faces on Christmas morning with no presents?
