    U.S. Army Has Hitler’s Watercolors

    To the victor comes the spoils, and if you’re the victor of World War II, that means you get to keep Adolph Hitler’s personally painted watercolors. Hitler was, among other things, apparently a failed artist who was rejected from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. At the end of World War II, the U.S. Army confiscated some of his paintings. However, none of the works have been displayed, as they were deemed too controversial. Instead, they are stored at Fort Belvoir in Virginia, 30 minutes outside of Washington, D.C.
