On April 15, Google will offer a pair of Google Glasses to anyone who wants to join its Explorer Program—and pay $1,500.  Although Google did not say it was a one-day-only sale, in a statement on Google+, the company said “the number of spots available is limited.” Google does not consider this a general consumer release of Google Glass, but rather a chance to pay and be a part of a program that is akin to a testing group. Analysts see it as Google’s last major Google Glass push before the official launch later this year.
