For the Miami Dolphins, apparently racist bullying isn't sufficiently satisfying. So one of their players decided to tweet anti-gay comments about Michael Sam. After Sam was drafted as the 249th overall pick Saturday night and shown kissing his boyfriend on national television, defensive back Don Jones tweeted “OMG” and “Horrible.” The Dolphins acted swiftly, though, fining Jones an undisclosed amount and banning him from team practices until he undergoes sensitivity training. Jones publicly apologized Sunday in a statement: "I want to apologize to Michael Sam for the inappropriate comments that I made last night on social media. I take full responsibility for them and I regret that these tweets took away from his draft moment.”
