Marine Le Pen delivered a major victory for the far-right Front National party, which is both anti-immigration and anti-European Union. Exit polls say the Front National has garnered a record 25 percent of votes, the highest the party has ever won. Le Pen declared the results a "massive rejection of the European Union” and called for the dissolution of the French national assembly. "What else can the president do after such a rejection?," she said. Le Pen reportedly has plans to unite Dutch, Italian, Belgian, Swedish, and Slovak right-win groups in an EU parliamentary group called the European Freedom Alliance.
