In an epic twist, the same man who took down a politician eight years ago for using a racist slur is now working for the Washington Redskins to defend the team's name and has a backlog of offensive tweets to boot. Blogger Ben Tribbett published a video of then-Senator George Allen using the racial slur "macaca" in 2006. Four years later, he was tweeting from Las Vegas, "Just took Chief for his last 300. I'd call it a scalping but that seems uncalled for." Now, Scribbet is working for the Redskins to defend the embattled team name. Ironically, George Allen is the brother of Bruce Allen, general manager of the Redskins, and their father was the team's famous coach.
