The Toronto Raptors will reportedly be fined $25,000 thanks to Drake’s comments about Kevin Durant, according to ESPN.com. The NBA believes that Drake, who is an official team ambassador for the Raptors, wooed Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant a little too hard at a recent concert in Toronto. Before a crowd of thousands, the hip-hop star brought Durant on stage and said, “You know, my brother Kevin Durant was kind enough to come to the show tonight and watch us. I just want him to see what would happen if he came to play in Toronto. Let him know what would happen.” The Torontonians then broke into cheers of “KD! KD! KD!” The league has deemed the remarks of a violation of its anti-tampering rules and will reportedly fine the team $25,000 in response.
