A Liberian doctor who was treated with an experimental Ebola drug has died. Abraham Borbor, the chief medical doctor of one of the country’s biggest hospitals, was given ZMapp, which has been otherwise helpful in recovery from the virus, and had shown signs of recovering. On Sunday, he “took a turn for the worse,” Liberia’s information minister says. Two other doctors in the country are being treated with the unapproved drug, as the death toll from Ebola reaches more than 1,400 across West Africa.
