The family of one of the nurses who contracted Ebola from Thomas Eric Duncan says she is now free of the virus. "We are overjoyed to announce that, as of yesterday evening, officials at Emory University Hospital and the Centers for Disease Control [and Prevention] are no longer able to detect virus in her body," said the family of Amber Vinson. A hospital spokeswoman said she could not release information on Vinson, and the CDC is yet to confirm the case. Vinson, a 29-year-old nurse at Texas Health Presbyterian, cared for Duncan, who died earlier this month. Her initial Ebola diagnosis sparked concern because she flew back-and-forth from Cleveland after she had been exposed to the virus. However, no cases stemming from her have been diagnosed yet.
