Accused Pennsylvania state trooper killer Eric Frein was captured alive Thursday after a months-long manhunt. Frein, 31, is charged with ambushing the Blooming Grove State Police barracks last month, opening fire and killing one trooper and seriously wounding another. A self-taught survivalist, Frein was captured alive without incident after police put “a tremendous amount of pressure on him” over the weekend and likely forced him to move from the woods where he was hiding. A police source photo shows Frein in the backseat of a police car. He remained in hiding for 48 days, during which time police found a diary entry, his AK-47, two homemade pipe bombs, and several campsites.
