In an interview with Connecticut’s WNPR radio Tuesday afternoon, President Obama expressed that the current outlook for states were the worst possible conditions for Democrats since Dwight Eisenhower was president. “There are a lot of states that are being contested where they just tend to tilt Republican,” he stated, foreshadowing a grizzly night of Democratic losses. Vice President Joe Biden is not ready to give up, holding strong on a positive outcome. “I think we win Alaska, which you know, the pundits are saying we lose. I think we win North Carolina, which is a tough race. I think we win New Hampshire,” he told WPLR radio in Connecticut. It will only take the GOP six seats to gain control of the Senate, which is being seen as highly possible due to early polling. The change in power would prove to make Obama’s final two years a difficult run in his final tackles of everything from health care to energy and spending.
