Almost two years after the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, several parents of the 20 first-graders who were shot to death have filed court documents with intent to sue on the basis of wrongful death. Eight of the filings came this month, one late last year and the first in late 2012. The documents filed with probate court seek to create estates on behalf of their deceased children. It would allow the parents to sue on their behalf, an action most of the parents marked on the forms. It is unclear who they plan to sue.
