A Baltimore grand jury indicted 22 people Monday for their alleged involvement in a multi-state dog-fighting ring. Of the 22, authorities say 14 are already in custody. All have been charged with dog fighting, animal cruelty, and conspiracy. Authorities raided 18 locations in Baltimore, as well as a compound in West Virginia. They recovered 225 dogs, including 50 puppies, and at least 20 weapons. The ring has ties to New York, North Carolina, and other parts of Maryland, according to police.
