A four-month-old gorilla at Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden is ready to move on and become part of an adult group. Kamina, a baby Western lowland gorilla, was brought to Cincinnati after her mother stopped caring for her shortly after her birth in Oklahoma City Zoo. Zookeepers dressed as gorillas have helped raise Kamina over the past three months, feeding her and slowly introducing her to adult female gorillas. Now she is ready to move on to Columbus Zoo, where 14 surrogate gorilla infants have been successfully integrated into adult groups.
