The Seattle Seahawks will go head-to-head with the other most recent team to return to the Superbowl two years in a row after the New England Patriots landed a 45-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. The Patriots won their eight AFC championship and sixth under QB Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick. Tom Brady threw for three touchdowns while LeGarrette Blount ran in three more. Earlier Sunday, the Seahawks mounted an improbable comeback against the Greenbay Packers to score a spot in the Superbowl after a 28-22 overtime win. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw a game-winning touchdown to receiver Jermaine Kearse in overtime, making Seattle the first team since the 2003-2004 New England Patriots to go to the Superbowl in two consecutive years.
