The FBI arrested a Bayonne, New Jersey police officer for allegedly beating a resident with a flashlight and pepper-spraying in his home, while arresting him on an outstanding warrant. Domenico Lillo was cuffed by the FBI Friday in response to a federal lawsuit filed by Brandon Walsh in November. Walsh, a Bayonne resident, said in his lawsuit that Lillo and two other cops “stormed into” his home in December 2013 and pepper-sprayed him and and his mother to arrest him on an outstanding warrant. Lillo allegedly took a "flashlight or other blunt instrument" and beat him once he was in the police car. Lillo was one of the few officers named in a police brutality lawsuit that resulted in an $100,000 settlement for two men in 2011.
