U.S. employment continued its strong growth in February, with 295,000 jobs added to nonfarm payrolls, according to the Labor Department. The above-forecast increase follows a downwardly revised growth of 239,000 jobs in January, making February the 12th consecutive month with job numbers above 200,000—a feat the U.S. has not achieved since 1994. The unemployment rate also fell to 5.5 percent.
