Ice cream giant Blue Bell Creameries expanded a recall to include all of its products Monday in the wake of potential contamination concerns, according to a statement on its website. The Texas-based company pulled all of its products over a threat of of Listeria monocytogenes, which can cause serious or fatal infections in children, the elderly or people with weakened immune systems. The initial recall began March 13 after three people died from contaminiated Blue Bell snacks at a hospital in Kansas. The list of recalled products has expanded as federal officials tracked the contamination to a production plant in Broken Arrow, Okla.
