The Kappa Delta Rho fraternity has been banned from Penn State's flagship campus for three years after the institution concluded an investigation into sexual harassment, hazing, and other forms of misconduct in the chapter. The frat was initially suspended in March when the university discovered Facebook pages with images of unconscious women, evidence of drug deals, and hazing. An investigation found the organization had “over the course of time engaged in sexual harassment and misconduct." The university's interfraternity council initially decided that the frat could remain if it implemented sweeping reforms, but the university's vice president from student affairs made the rare choice to supercede the organization's authority. Instead, he recommended a three-year ban to the university president, which was approved.
