Former Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers defensive end Ray McDonald was arrested for a second time on Wednesday for violating a restraining order in Santa Clara, Calif. The restraining order was issued against McDonald after he was arrested two days ago on a misdemeanor domestic violence and child endangerment charge for allegedly hitting a woman who was holding a baby. The Chicago Bears dropped McDonald over the incident. McDonald was released by the San Francisco 49ers in December after he was named as a suspect in a prior investigation for sexual assault and was arrested on domestic violence charges last August. He was never charged and filed a defamation suit against the accuser in the sexual assault case.
