The world’s biggest hotel will open in Mecca in 2017, complete with 10,000 bedrooms, 70 restaurants and four helipads. The 45-story tall, fortress-style Abraj Kudai will cost around $3.6 billion and have five floors reserved exclusively for the Saudi royal family. It is funded by the Saudi Ministry of Finance and designed by the Dar al-Handasah group.
