    4 Confederate Flags Left at MLK’s Church

South Carolina lawmakers plan to introduce a resolution on Tuesday to begin a debate on removing the Confederate flag from the State House grounds following the killings of nine African-American churchgoers allegedly by a white gunman.

    Four Confederate flags were left at the historically black Atlanta church where Martin Luther King, Jr. once preached. The flags at Ebenezer Baptist Church were placed near a “Black lives matter, hands up” poster. Police are investigating the incident, and the church is expected to release a statement this morning.
