An Anne Arundel County police officer is no longer on the force after biting a man’s testicles during a drunken brawl outside a Maryland bar during a Cinco de Mayo celebration. Despite that incident, the department won’t say exactly why he left. Former Officer Michael Flaig was charged with second-degree assault, which prosecutors decided not to pursue, and an alcohol-related charge. "The state agreed not to prosecute him for the assault in exchange for his agreement to plead guilty," his lawyer said. Flaig is serving one year of probation for the intoxication charge.
