Upon accepting the BRIT Award for best female solo artist Wednesday, singer-songwriter Adele voiced her support for fellow pop star Kesha. "I'd like to take this moment to publicly say I support Kesha," she said of the singer who recently lost a court battle to end her contract with Dr. Luke over allegations the producer drugged and raped her. Subsequently Kesha's plight has become a cause célèbre among fellow artists, most of whom have taken to asserting their support for her despite Dr. Luke's insistence that he never raped his colleague.
