Judge Wayne Salvant upheld an April order that Ethan Couch, the “affluenza” teen, spend nearly two years in jail despite Couch’s appeal to reverse the term. Salvant canceled an additional hearing scheduled on the matter for May 16 and signed an order reaffirming Couch’s probation terms. Couch was ordered to spend 180 days in jail for all four people he killed in a drunk driving incident in 2013.
