Rep. David Jolly (R-FL) announced Friday that he will drop his bid for the U.S. Senate, and will instead seek re-election to his seat in the House of Representatives. Jolly said Friday morning that he believes Sen. Marco Rubio, the incumbent, will run for re-election to the Senate after months of saying he’d leave the upper chamber in hopes that his presidential campaign was successful. Jolly had previously said he would drop out of the race if Rubio changes his mind.
