Kevin Durant will sign with the Golden State Warriors, he said on Monday. The former Oklahoma City MVP considered several teams while he was a free agent. He and his representatives met with the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, San Antonio Spurs, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, and the Thunder. Durant said it has been “by far the most challenging few weeks in my professional life.” He announced his decision in a post on The Players’ Tribune. Durant will sign a two-year, $54 million contract, ESPN reports. The contract would include a player option after the first year.
