Jeb Bush on Tuesday voiced what many other Americans are likely thinking these days—that Melania Trump should take the president-elect’s cellphone away from him. Speaking at a forum in Texas, Jeb Bush said he hoped “Melania steals his phone,” in light of his habit of embarking on late-night and early-morning tweetstorms, The Hill reported. A former GOP rival to Trump, Bush also said he hopes the president-elect will be successful in his term. Multiple lawmakers have echoed Bush’s concerns over Trump’s Twitter rampages, and Melania said in an April interview that she wished her husband would tweet less. Members of Trump’s own team reportedly took away his Twitter access just before Election Day, hoping to prevent any impulsive remarks. More recently, however, incoming White House press secretary Sean Spicer said Trump would be using Twitter to make major announcements while in office.
