Chinese police are beating nosy relatives of those who are believed to be dead inside a cruise ship that capsized in the Yangtze River, the families say. The altercations allegedly took place Wednesday, when some of the relatives were rounded up by uniformed police as they protested for more information. They were taken into a building and not allowed to speak to media. “Why are they using taxpayers’ money to bully us? Why are all these police here?” said a woman whose relatives were on the ship. The police were not available for comment.
