Will Liberal Democrat Nick Clegg consent to make Tory leader David Cameron Britain’s next prime minister? The two men held talks on Friday and two Liberal Democrat sources tell The Guardian that they have agreed to “explore further” cooperation. However, Gordon Brown still has some tricks up his sleeve: He remains prime minister until the hung parliament can be resolved, and he has already promised to deliver immediate legislation on the Liberal Democrat’s priority of electoral reform if Clegg supports his bid to remain prime minister.
